The Manufacturing program will help transform you into an invaluable asset by teaching you essential skills used in manufacturing products. Both degrees in manufacturing and certificates are available.
Degrees:
Industrial Design Technology
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Industrial Design Technology program prepares students for careers in the field of Industrial Design. This expertise will allow employment in a variety of hi-tech product development and medical device, consumer product, aerospace, and automotive manufacturing companies.
Manufacturing Production Technology
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Manufacturing Production Technology program prepares students for employment as operators, technicians, and managers in the manufacturing industry.
Nanotechnology
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nanotechnology program is designed to provide students with the general principles and foundational skills in the nano/micro-fabrication industry and related manufacturing industries.
Certificates:
CNC Machine Operator
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in CNC Machine Operator prepares students for employment as entry level operators and technicians in the manufacturing industry. The program provides applied skills in the operation of manual/Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machines for current and future needs of the manufacturing.
CNC Machining I
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in CNC Machining I prepares students for employment as entry-level operators and technicians in the manufacturing industry. This program introduces students to manual data programming and Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM).
CNC Machining II
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in CNC Machining II prepares students for advanced employment opportunities as operators and technicians in the manufacturing industry. The program provides applied skills in process design.
Nanotechnology
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Nanotechnology program is designed to provide students with the general principles and foundational skills in the micro/nano-fabrication industry and related manufacturing industries. Students will become familiar with nanotechnology processes, materials, and methods for characterization and fabrication. Product stewardship, occupational safety and health procedures are emphasized throughout the program.
Production Technology: Quality Assurance
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Production Technology: Quality Assurance program is designed for students to obtain the skills required to be considered as a quality technician in a manufacturing environment.
